"Timing is very important"

The winter months (May - September) are cold in the evenings and early mornings (4-10 degrees). By 10H00 the temperatures will be in the upper 20 and lower 30 degrees Celsius. Spring and Autumn: October - November and April -May the temperatures are moderate and mostly pleasant. October could be hot, but not unbearable. Good weather to stalk in! Summer: December - March. Very hot with temperatures in upper thirties and forties. A lot of time is spent swimming in the rivers.

Best bow hunting dates for 2012: 13 June to 23 June; 13 July to 23 July; 11 August to 21 August; 10 Sept to 20 September; 10 October to 20 October

Rifle hunting: From April - October

Photographic: Generally November - April. Big game photos will be best in August - November.

Adventure trips: July - November.

Weapons: This will be discussed once we have made contact with each other.

Visas: Although most countries do not require a VISA to visit South Africa, please first check with travel agents before leaving, especially if trips are to be made outside South Africa's borders.

Insurance: Please check that your Travel and Medical insurances cover you in South Africa.

What to bring along Bring comfortable and cool clothing at all times of the year. Khaki (brown or green) is a good color for the bush. A warm jacket and long comfortable trousers will be advised for the evenings and early morning. Well-worn, soft-soled walking shoes are advised. Also, you should bring along a torch, sunscreen, reading material, binoculars, cameras, hats or caps, video cameras and charger, Our electric current: 220 V with three or two, round holed prongs. Laundry will be done on a daily basis; so do not pack too much clothing.

Medical: We are situated in a malaria area so please consult your doctor to get you started on a preventative course before departure. Medical doctors are available in emergencies and camps are briefed on the procedures involved during emergencies.

Liability and Indemnities: We will do our utmost to take good care of our visitors and we will act in a responsible manner. However we will ask all our clients to sign indemnity forms on arrival.

The game and habitat in these areas are of the richest and diverse you can find, with over 25 large mammal species, 440 bird species and an unmentionable amount of trees, shrubs and grasses. We have two Archaeological heritage sites in close proximity. Bushman paintings are still to be found in some of the rock formations.
Under activities you will be able to see in more detail what we have to offer. We enjoy what we do and therefore every trip is made up as if we were going on Safari ourselves.
